Not only do we have grit – we have heart! Our team loves to give and serve. This winter, our team spent time supporting angel trees, shoe boxes, the unhoused and “blessings in a bag.” In fact, Bryant Consultants has been honored to bless people since its inception in 2010!

Hollie, the CEO of Bryant Consultants, and her sister, our coach Tyra, invest in giving back. They do this not only to fulfill a need but to teach their children the importance of doing something for someone with no expectation of receiving anything in return.

Hollie shared that her family has been giving back to the community since she was a child. Hollie recalls that when she, Tyra and Quintin were growing up, they often gave the food from their table and the clothes off their backs to help someone who needed it more than they did. That set a good foundation for the trio to lean into giving, and they teach their children the same values.

The team at Bryant Consultants loves to give and organically find children and adults who need help but don’t necessarily ask for it or seek, for instance, to be included on an angel tree.

“Blessings in a bag” was something fun that the Coach Tyra’s family did this year, and they had the opportunity to serve youth on their school bus. To assist with the bus driver shortage, Coach Kendall drove an afternoon bus, and it presented the opportunity for his children to see other children that they thought might be appreciative of a blessing. Three of the kids did not have coats, so instead of choosing one family, they decided to bless the three students on the bus, and the kids loved it!

‘Serving families and children in need has helped my kids be more aware of their blessings and the needs of others their age,” Tyra said.

Chloe (age 10) shared: “It makes me happy to give because I know it’s putting a smile on others’ faces.”

The Foust Family, on their trip to NYC, shared some “blessing bags” with the unhoused and filled many shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. The family’s favorite part of obedience through faithful giving, Hollie shared, is knowing that someone’s needs have been met and a small gift may provide someone with lasting hope and the sense that someone cares about them.

The Foust children loved making cards for gift recipients and packing the gifts to deliver. Hollie and Andy are teaching their kids how to walk by faith and allow God to direct their giving. “Our kids have been raised with the fruits of the spirit,” Hollie said. “From item selection to packaging and delivering, they are an intricate part of the entire process.”

This year, Bryant Consultants also supported angel trees hosted by our clients in various towns and for the unhoused population where some of our team resides Our team also supports foster youth, pets and the food bank.  We all agree and want to do what God tells us in the Bible: “Love Your Neighbor as Yourself” Leviticus 19:18.
