National Nutrition Month:

March is National Nutrition Month. Offer educational sessions or materials about the impact of nutrition on oral health. It’s a great opportunity to discuss how a balanced diet contributes to healthy teeth, healthy gums and a healthy gut! Dental hygienist are always happy to do some social media videos talking about health, all you have to do is ask them if they want to do some fun social media reels and you tube shorts ! (once they do them it’s awesome to acknowledge their efforts with a small token of appreciation of some sorts) Your engagement is their encouragement !!

St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations:

Embrace the fun of St. Patrick’s Day! Decorate your office with green and gold, and consider giving away green-themed dental goodies, like toothbrushes or floss. A small, festive gesture can make a big impact. These small holiday enhancements can easily improve the culture of your dental practice all while improving the patients experience ! Bring on the Green!

Women’s History Month:

Honor Women’s History Month by recognizing the significant women in dentistry, both historically and in your community. Feature these stories in your office or on social media.(Google can be your best friend here)

Patient Loyalty Rewards:

March is a great time to kickstart or highlight a patient loyalty program. Offer special rewards or points for repeat visits and referrals !

Free Oral Cancer Screenings:

With Oral Cancer Awareness in April, start early by offering free oral cancer screenings in late March. (get a plan together with your hygiene team and involve them in the marketing and awareness)  This not only shows care for your patients’ health but also raises awareness.
