Social media has become an integral part of marketing strategies for dental practices. In this blog post, our consultants at Bryant Consultants will explore efficient ways to gather social media content from your team. These methods will help you save time and streamline your content creation process … and make the process less painless for those who run from the camera!
Here are a few ideas:
In your morning huddle, snap a few pictures of the team, the doctor, or candid shots of the meeting. You don’t have to use the content you capture on the same day. Instead, collect content in an album for future posts. Pictures don’t have to be staged or fancy. They can be a team member with a cup of coffee or the doctor looking at an x-ray. Ask two team members to pose. Just be sure to be kind and considerate; don’t take or post terrible photos of your peers.
Another great time to collect photos is during a team meeting. Set aside 5-10 minutes to take pictures. Partner up and snap away. The pictures can be of each other, pairs, small groups, etc. We have included a list to help guide great photos for your social media manager. One great thing about collecting photos at team meetings is that your social media person should have enough photos for several weeks unless you have a special event. Always remember: If you have a special event going on like a birthday, team breakfast, treats from a patient, or a work anniversary, POST it! If you look at your social media insights, you’ll see that candid pictures of what’s happening in the office often have the highest reach and engagement. Take a peek and see for yourself.
Encourage your patients to share their experiences, stories, and testimonials on social media and to tag your office using specific hashtags or by tagging your dental practice.
Run social media contests and giveaways. This is a great way to generate excitement and engagement on your social media channels. You can offer prizes like free dental care, gift cards, or even products from your office. Promote teeth whitening and other services your office offers, and ask people to share their smiles using your advertising product.
If you’ve done any type of social media posting, you’re probably aware that your patients want to see you and your team. The dental consultants at Bryant Consultants can vouch for how much traction a post with the team, the dentist, or any team member receives.
